Peevish Bobcat
I came upon this Bobcat while it was staking out a gopher hole. It didn’t look pleased to see me at first, but I hung back until it got comfortable and was able to witness a mighty pounce. Sadly, or happily depending on how you feel about gophers, the Bobcat was unsuccessful this time around.

Black Phoebe Landing Flare
I found this snag framed by receding greeneery in the background. Even better, a Black Phoebe was flitting around the area. With a bit of patience, I was able to get a shot of it flaring in for the landing.
