Getting to see an armadillo was one of many highlights of my trip to Patagonia with @danieldietrichphoto. These guys are so shy and hard to photograph, but we stayed very still until it emerged from its burrow and scurried (safely) across the road.
This is either a Pichi or a Big Hairy Armadillo, but I didn’t learn enough about armadillos to be able to identify it.
