A Coyote emerges from shadows.

I’ve fallen into kind of a default style over the last few years, which is more or less “decent to good light, edited to be bright and vibrant while staying realistic.” At this point I can basically dial it in on autopilot if I have a good raw file to work with. While I like those shots, I’ve been trying to work on more interesting light and different moods to avoid getting stuck in a rut. This is my favorite result so far.

There were some brightly lit trees to the Coyote’s right that would have ruined the mood I was going for, so you’re all going to have to deal with a subject looking out of the frame instead of into it. Sorry, not sorry.
