My first leaping Coyote. This is a classic shot that’s been eluding me for quite a while. I’ve gotten it far in the distance, in terrible light, from the back, and with a diseased Coyote. Last week I finally got an opportunity to photograph a beautiful Coyote in great light getting some serious air. I captured three leaps, none of which were successful, after which I left him to focus on his hunt without the distraction of a nosy photographer.
