Catching up on photos from before my early summer hiatus. As I’ve started getting more experienced with wildlife photography, I’ve started to enjoy going beyond capturing the animals to also capturing the mood of the place they’re in. This photo of a California Quail in a late May sunset brings me back to spring in Point Reyes every time I look at it.
