One of my most memorable wildlife moments last year. A Coyote family set up a den near a busy footpath, giving me an opportunity to observe the pups with minimal disturbance. This curious pup came to investigate me. I stayed as still as possible as it ventured closer and closer. The pup chose to stay within the safety of the grasses. After watching me from just a few feet away for a second or two, it scampered back to its siblings.
