Notice something unusual about this Coyote? You may have heard that California has blue-eyed Coyotes. Recently, I saw something I’ve never seen or heard of before: a Coyote with one blue eye and one brown/yellow eye. I’ve heard of a Coyote with an injured eye that looked blue, but I think this is a different situation. Both eyes appeared to be working normally, so there’s a decent chance it was born this way.
